On Saturday Dec 6th, the Mocksville Fire Department held its
annual Christmas and Service Awards Dinner. Service awards were
given to:
- Jackie Corriher - 30 years
- Greg Forbes - 15 years
- Steve Walters - 10 years
- Rhonda Walters - 5 years
- Roger Pennington
- Chris Barrnet
- Sean Phillips - 1 year
A special presentation was given to former fire chief and
still active firefighter Jimmy Kelly which dedicated the
Mocksville Fire Department training room in his honor. The night
was ended with a special presentation to Chief Phil Crowe for
his 27 years of service. Chief Crowe will be retiring on
December 31st. Thank you Chief Crowe for all you have done for
our department.
