On Saturday December 10, 2005 Mocksville Fire Department held our annual Christmas Dinner & Awards Banquet at the First Methodist Family Life Center. It was a great night of food and fellowship. Door prizes donated by local business were given out during the evening. A visit from Santa was a favorite with all the children and some adults as well. During our dinner, service awards were given out for 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 and over 20 years of service to the Mocksville Fire Department. The highlight of the awards was when former Fire Chief and current Safety Officer Jimmy Kelly was awarded a 45-year service award.
