 Live Burn Training

The Mocksville Fire Dept. conducted a Live Burn Training in an acquired structure on August 28, 2009. The structure used contained a basement and it was used to train both new and veteran firefighters on the extreme dangers of operating inside a basement that is involved in fire. This was the first time that Mocksville firefighters were able to train on basement fire attack and the problems that it creates.
Participating Agencies were; Mocksville Fire Department, William R. Davie Fire Department, and Davie County Air Response Unit, Davie County Rescue Squad provided medical stand-by.
