Congratulations to Lt. Brian Carter, Asst Chief Frank Carter, FF Joel Crotts, FF
Andy Lipscomb, FF Chad Lipscomb, FF Ray Moore, EMD Jerry Myers, FF Jason Myrick
and FF Mark Wallner on the completion of the NC Hazardous Materials Technician
course. This class has been over a year in the making and attracted students
from Concord FD all the way to Asheville FD. The in depth class was 96 hours
Monday-Friday for 2 weeks and covered chemical characteristics, protection and
identification as well as containment and confinement of chemical releases just
to name a few. This training will by far be an assist to Davie County and its
citizens. |
